1. Service Description

ShipReport is an AI-powered tool that helps freelance project managers generate professional status reports for their clients. The service uses artificial intelligence to transform raw project notes into structured reports.

2. Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the service

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use ShipReport only for legitimate project management and reporting purposes
  • Not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or abuse the service
  • Not use automated tools to access the service beyond its intended interface

4. Your Content

  • You own your content. All project data, notes, and generated reports belong to you
  • You grant ShipReport a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service (generating reports, storing data)
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any client data you upload

5. AI-Generated Content

  • Reports are generated by AI and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies
  • You are responsible for reviewing all reports before sending them to clients
  • ShipReport is not liable for any consequences resulting from AI-generated content
  • Generated reports are processed via Anthropic's Claude API — see our Privacy Policy for details on data handling

6. Pricing

  • ShipReport is currently in free beta
  • When pricing is introduced, existing beta users will be notified in advance and receive a discounted rate
  • We will never charge without explicit consent

7. Service Availability

  • We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
  • During beta, the service may change, be updated, or experience downtime without notice
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

8. Limitation of Liability

ShipReport is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ShipReport shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

  • You can delete your account at any time
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
  • Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
